At IPR, we want to make sure your prior education, work or military experience gets you the credit you deserve. Our goal is to help you turn your passion into a career, and that doesn’t include taking classes you’ve already taken.
Our office of the registrar can help you determine what prior coursework and work experiences can be counted as transfer credits. Be prepared to provide the following documentation:
- AP tests
- CLEP tests
- College transcripts
- DANTES tests
- Job assignment descriptions
- Letters from employers
- Performance reports
- Professional certificates
Credit for Military Training
You could receive college credit for your military training if you are a current military member or a veteran. IPR follows the American Transfer of Credit (ACE) for granted credit.
Military transcripts can be requested from:
- Joint Services Transcript (JST)
- Community College of the Air Force (CCAF)
- U.S. Coast Guard Institute (CGI)
Students enrolled at The Institute of Production and Recording, Broadview University, Duluth Business University, and Minnesota School of Cosmetology have the option to earn credit for equitable courses taken at any of these institutions. The consortium agreement between these institutions meet the schools’ programmatic, local, state and national licensing and accreditation criteria. These institutions have common ownership and a centralized support system of corporate division personnel provided by the Broadview Education Consortium.
The agreements provide students with the flexibility to take equitable courses from all campus locations, including online coursework, which is administered by a centralized, shared virtual learning environment, CampusConnect, and delivered by the Broadview University online division.
Degrees are granted by the individual colleges. See the course catalog for additional information regarding the consortium agreement.
