National Accreditation

We are dedicated to our students’ success, and we know that in order for them to have the best opportunities available upon graduation, our institution needs to not only meet, but exceed, the rigorous standards set forth by accrediting agencies. Accreditation means that the school has voluntarily submitted itself to an industry-based peer review of its educational standards. In the world of education, accreditation can be a sign of excellence in an institution. The Institute of Production and Recording is accredited by Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) is a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education. Attending an institution accredited by an organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education is often a requirement for employment and provides access to federal funding for students who qualify.

The Institute of Production and Recording has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements, commonly known as SARA, provides a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.
