This December Andrew Hunt’s Digital Video & Media Production students spent one long day in the studio, collaborating with Andrew and a crew of professional filmmakers on the Untitled Productions short film Personal Space. The short, based on a story created by Andrew and his students in an IPR advanced screenwriting class, will screen this Thursday at the Mall of America as a part of Z-Fest. IPR DVMP students paired with the pros to work on all aspects of the film, from art design to script supervision to assistant cameraperson.
Andrew and the Untitled team have a history of success at Z-Fest, their short Clean Cut won Best-in-Fest Award at the festival last year (along with five additional awards). IPR and the DVMP program are proud to have Andrew on our team and honored by the value that he, and his production group, see in our students.
Please head to the Theatres at Mall of America and support our team at the Z Fest screening on Thursday, March 10th. Personal Space screens as a part of Session 4 at 8:45 p.m. If it advances to the top ten, it will screen again and be part of the award ceremony on March 17th. Watch for details.
More details about upcoming Z-Fest screenings are available on their website.
