DIY 360 W/ Phil Solem (Friends Theme!)

Come hear the guy who sang and wrote the FRIENDS theme this Friday, 8/21 in the second floor student lounge at 11:30 for DIY 360.

He has promised Adam Levy that he will actually sing “I’ll Be There for You.”

Phil Solem of the Rembrandts wrote the theme song for the long running, award-winning TV sitcom and has released numerous records, as well as  writing hits for other artists.

Bring your lunch this Friday and hear Phil talk about being in an internationally famous pop band, the art and craft of songwriting, touring, and sustaining his career as a great songwriter, singer and guitarist.

DIY 360 is a weekly Friday IPR feature hosted by Adam Levy bringing in local and national figures in entertainment and media arts.  Adam discusses professional journeys, networking, art and craft, observations about changes in the marketplace, as well as new opportunities for students.

It’s a great way to meet successful record label owners, artists, writers, promoters, club owners, and other movers and shakers in the local and national scenes.  Come on, what are you waiting for? Get your foot in the door!
