What is DIY 360?
DIY 360 is a recurring interview and performance event at IPR hosted by Kevin Bowe, focused on growing careers in the media arts and entertainment industries.
The goal is to introduce attendees to professionals in the field who have been successful, frequently by forging their own path and adapting to the ever-changing landscape. Guests share information about their careers, their philosophies about professionalism and their art. Guests often give advice to budding artists, entertainment business professionals, producers and engineers. DIY 360 is an opportunity for students to network with those working in the field and with each other as they work toward career

Barb Abney is a true diehard rock-and-roll fan and she’s turned that love of music into a career. One of the most popular DJ’s at the Current, she has a long history in rock radio and she will tell us all about it.

Batteryboy is an exciting Minneapolis based indie-folk band led by Cobey Rouse and Eric Carranza. Their orchestral sound has captivated local audiences so be prepared for an hour of great music and stories.

Dana is one of the true “good people” in the Minneaplis music scene — a talented singer, songwriter, bandleader and now booking agent for the popular Aster Café, Dana has a lifetime of musical experiences to share along with some great songs.

Ellis Delaney is one of the most successful folk artists to emerge from our local music scene; she has made a living as an indie touring artist for years playing venues all over the planet including major festivals and “Prairie Home Companion”.

Leader of the band “La Madness,” Kurt just finished a European and West Coast tour, promoting an album mixed by our own Colt Leeb.

One of our homeboys who actually went to Nashville and made it. Besides leading Glen Campbell’s band for many years, Jeff has written songs for many country artists and is one heck of a guitarist.
