IPR Instructor Receives "The Apple Award" for Volunteer Work

Instructor Thomas French with "The Apple Award"

Thomas French, IPR Instructor, recently received “The Apple Award” for his volunteer educational work. Awarded by the United Educators of Dakota County, Mr. French has quite a history of helping others build their skillsets for a better life. About his work French writes in an email: “I work primarily with immigrants, and other adults who have not finished High School. I help prepare them for the GED test or to pass college entrance tests. I’ve done this work for 3 years now, and working either 4 or 5 days a week from about 8:00 AM to noon.”  French was awarded “The Apple” because he tutors high school and adult learners free of charge. We are blessed to have an educator of Mr. French’s caliber teaching at IPR. Thank you for all you do Thomas and thank you for caring about your students!

Thomas French teaches math at the Institute of Production and Recording. Be sure to congratulate him.
