According to a recent study by Glassdoor.com, music and film studies majors are among the top paying 50 college majors.
Glassdoor analyzed nearly 500,000 resumes and the median base salary from each major for the first five years of being in the workforce.
“With approximately 70 percent of American high school graduates enrolling in colleges and universities each year, a college degree has become a stepping stone to landing a great first job,” according to a statement on Glassdoor.com.
A music major comes in at No. 37 on the list with a median base salary of $44,000.
Film studies follow at No. 38 with a median base salary of $44,000.
