Steve AlmMusic Theory, Performance

Steve has taught at IPR since 2008 and holds bachelor’s degrees in open studies and music education. In addition to his career as a professional performer, Steve has taught band in the public schools and has given guitar and piano lessons to children and adults.

Steve has played as a solo artist and in numerous ensembles, rock, blues, dance and show bands and symphony orchestras. He has performed coast-to-coast in the United States, as well as in Canada, the Caribbean, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Brazil and Shanghai. In his travels, Steve has also performed as a magician, juggler and fire-eater. He is happy to have a safer job as teacher.
