Brandon Eiynck

Instructor, Sound Reinforcement III

Brandon began his audio career working concurrently as both a studio engineer and a live sound engineer. In the studio, he had the good fortune and honor to work with many talented artists and producers including Grammy Award-winning Sounds of Blackness. After five years balancing the studio and live entertainment, he decided that he preferred the unique, in the moment kind of atmosphere one can only experience when there is no “take 2.” Ever since, he has devoted his career to creating memories for others who enjoy live music as much as he does.

Exceeding 10 years experience touring with bands, as well as working with local sound companies and venues, Brandon has run the gamut of live production. If it involves amplified sound, it’s in his wheelhouse. His experience does not however, begin and end with sound. Among other qualifications, Brandon has worked as tour manager, production manager and stage manager. These key roles, integral to the logistics of a live performance have helped him to appreciate all aspects of the production. In turn, he has picked up other skills and knowledge along the way such as lighting, video and instrument maintenance. New to IPR, Brandon looks forward to sharing his knowledge and experience in practical application with his students.
