KQRS Battle of the Bands, Steve Hodge, Medina Entertainment Center

Friday, May 6th – APE chair Steve Hodge was invited to judge the KQRS battle of the bands at Medina Entertainment Center. Four finalists squared off in 20-30 minute sets for a chance to win $500 and an opening slot for KQRS’s Rock Stock at Midway Stadium with Styx, Cheap Trick, Badfinger and Lemont Cranston, May 29th.

All four acts walked away with a subsequent cash prize of at least $100. So, officially, there were no final contest losers. Originally, ten bands fought the good fight, but only four made it to the finals.

The Troy Castellano Group took first place on the night. Click here to learn more about Troy.

Special thanks to KQRS for inviting Steve and IPR to participate, and congratulations to the Troy Castellano group!
