I wanted to take a minute to share my exciting new with all of you. I have taken on a new roll at IPR as Student Services Coordinator. Some of you may or may not have worked with me previously as a member of the Financial Aid Office; but I am super excited for this new opportunity and I look forward to working with you all more on a day-to-day level!

IPR Presents: Music in the Park is this Monday, August 9^th from 6-9pm at Minnehaha Park.

This is a FREE All ages community music event hosted by IPR.

Check out an easy way to get to Minnehaha Park!

Catch the Light Rail 3 blocks for the IPR campus, right in front of Target Field, and get off at the Minnehaha Park station!!! You will be just a hop skip and a jump from the outdoor music pavilion at the park. Use your Go-To College Pass on the Light Rail or bring another MetroTransit pass or debit/credit card for quick access to the Light Rail.

Tom Hilde has left the Student Services Department to return to graduate school in Austin, Texas.

IPR folks,

I am going back to school this fall to pursue a Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning. I am soon moving to Austin to attend the University of Texas. Today is my last day at IPR.

I’ve had a blast working with ya’ll for the past 2+ years. Best of luck to everyone with your professional and personal journey of life, wherever it may take you!

Saturday, July 19th 2010 at 1:30pm IPR hosted it’s Summer 2010 Commencement Ceremony at Club 3 Degree’s in Minneapolis. Ceremony highlights included commencement speaker James Patrick Hunglemann, Valedictorians Jayme Budde and Matthew Branigan, and Icon Award winners: Hokuanu Aki, Chanel Tattenbach, Kathryn Dickinson and Matthew Branigan.

Congratulations to the Winter and Spring 2010 graduates earning Associate Degrees in Applied Science Media Arts Music & Entertainment Business and Audio Production & Engineering!
