Student Advisory Board

It is the goal of the Student Advisory Board to facilitate the continuing growth of the IPR community and IPR’s reputation. We will address student needs through positive and productive communication between students and staff, organize events and promote additional learning opportunities that complement the evolving IPR learning experience.

The Student Advisory Board is comprised of students with cumulative G.P.A.s of 3.0 or higher and cumulative attendance of 90% or better. Two members from each class are selected after their first quarter. Students are notified during the second week of each new quarter if they are eligible for selection to the SAB. Those who would like to be a part of the SAB are then given several weeks to write a one page essay detailing why they would like to be a part of the SAB and what leadership qualities, skills and ideas they would bring to the board. The current members of the SAB along with the staff SAB Coordinator then review these essays to determine which of the eligible students will be selected for membership. Once a student becomes an SAB membership they are then a member until they graduate.
