Description:
The 2010 GRHS Essay Contest is open to middle school students (sixth through eighth grade), high school students and full-time undergraduate university/college students. The subject of the paper must be related to the German Russian heritage and must be the contestant’s original work. A contestant does not need to be of German Russian heritage to enter the contest. Previous contestants are encouraged to enter each year; however, resubmission of previously judged work is not permitted.

America’s 9/11 Foundation, Inc. Scholarship
The America’s 9/11 Foundation, Inc. Scholarship is available to students whose parent is a first responder (EMS, Fire or Police) either paid or volunteer. Also required is an essay of between 200 and 500 words on the topic: “Those who answer the 9/ 11 call and why do they do it?”
