Studios

IPR's studio facilities provide our students with the most up-to-date technologies applicable to the recording and production industry. Our advanced facilities are equipped to teach our students on the most modern technologies, as well as the most commonly used “vintage” technology including SSL consoles, Digidesign Pro Tools, Apple Logic Pro, 24-track analog and a bevy of outboard processing both old and new.

With the same Mackie 24|8 Console installed in thousands of studios and live concert venues alike, IPR’s Program Director Brian Jacoby can be quoted as stating that “while it may not look like much, this is the most exciting educational tool we have to offer.” Signal flow and studio technology from the inside out, from wiring up the studio from scratch to running a full multi-track recording session.
