About Studio 6
The equipment list for Studio 6 may appear to be lacking at first glance, but it offers a unique educational experience. The room features the Mackie 24-8 (24-Channel/8-Buss), a console used in thousands of studios and live sound venues for its compactness and affordability. The studio is equipped with the Avid 002-based Pro Tools LE system and a collection of outboard processors and effects. Students learn how to wire integrated analog and digital studio environment from the ground up.
