Lab Rooms at IPR

IPR’s lab facilities are designed to give students exposure to the same industry-standard software and hardware that they will encounter every day in the real world. With over 120 computer workstations and dedicated labs for business, audio production and Pro Tools courses, our students use these spaces to get the hands-on learning they need for careers in audio production, engineering and music and entertainment business.

Computer Labs

IPR’s three computer labs are wired with iMac-based workstations that give students practice in the same production, recording, editing, and mixing skills that they practice in our studios. Software and hardware include Avid’s Pro Tools, Apple Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Pro Tools Labs

Our three Pro Tools labs include iMac workstations featuring Avid D-command ICON systems to support the Avid certification curriculum. In the PC-based lab, students learn advanced Avid post-production skills, and our Mac-based lab is tailored for advanced music and Pro Tools courses.

Business Labs

IPR’s business labs give students exposure to Apple workstations with software for print and web design, video and DVD production and editing, and financial and office application software.
