IPR’s Scott Novak and Christian Groves were able to connect with audio production and engineering graduates Troy Watson and A.J. Peterson at Sweetwater’s Gearfest 2012 this weekend in Ft. Wayne, IN. Gearfest is an exclusive trade show for Sweetwater vendors and invited guests.
Sweetwater VP of Human Resources, Jeff McDonald, paid high compliment to the quality of IPR’s audio production training. According to Jeff we send Sweetwater some of the most tech savvy, knowledgeable graduates he’s seen, and they’ve been very happy with IPR graduates as employees. Jeff specifically mentioned Troy Watson, A.J. Peterson, and Andrew Stryffeler. Nice work guys!
As an outgrowth of a continued effort on behalf of IPR’s Career Services department, Campus Communications’ Christian Groves was able to connect with Avid, Line 6, Soundtoys, Great River, Arturia, Royer Labs, Yamaha, Motu, and Auralex, amongst others. We look forward to channeling the expertise of these great companies to IPR as a means of continuing education for our students as well as potential graduate employment opportunities.
