It's really great when you can use a valuable service online with zero ads, but it's unrealistic to expect or demand 100% ad-free websites all the time. What bothers me is when ads interfere with the sites usability or when they distract the user because of blinking graphics, or bold colored "skins". There's a fine line between being noticeable and being intrusive to the point where the presence of the ads completely devalues the website's service.
