On Sunday, October 5th, IPR representatives crawled out of bed to set up in the Twin Cities Marathon post race party tent before the crack of dawn. It was a wet morning and many supporting organizations were making preparations for the thousands of runners soon to cross the finish line. Marquay Belcher, a recent IPR graduate would provide DJ services all day. Rebecca Buller, Dean of Students, provided logistical support. Norbert Kreuzer, Career Services Director, ran the 10 mile portion of the race and met us in the tent. Our participation was rewarding and fun. It’s true what they say about volunteering. IPR got so much more than we gave. We look forward to future opportunities.
