If you’re ready to surround yourself with music professionals, enthusiastic students and the latest in sound recording equipment, then the first thing you need to do is fill out an IPR Application (see bottom of page for download).
Send it, along with the registration fee, to: IPR Admissions Department, 312 Washington Ave. N, Minneapolis, MN 55401. An IPR Admissions rep will contact you for a potential interview, and the proceeding steps will begin.
1. Complete admissions application and submit it with the $50.00 application fee. Download: PDF
2. Complete and submit the IPR Dynamic Needs Assessment Intake (DNA) questionnaire.
3. Submit two professional letters of recommendation.
4. After you have completed all admission requirements, IPR will notify you as to your acceptance and an enrollment agreement will be sent to you.
IPR’s rolling admissions process means you can enroll at any time for courses that begin throughout the year. You will want to, however, begin the enrollment process well in advance of your selected start date.
Shortly before each quarter begins, IPR holds a New Student Orientation. Once you have been admitted as a new student, it is at this session that you will register for your classes, make arrangements to pay for tuition, books and fees, and meet with each department to be sure you are properly acquainted with the school and prepared to start your program.
